... They are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Manager to lead the team and help shape the future of early childhood education in our community.
As a Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre and work alongside a supportive area manager who will assist with resources, training, systems and recruitment. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities, staff management, curriculum development, and maintaining a high standard of care for our children. Our client is committed to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment and offer extended pay parity pay rates to their dedicated team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership to our team of educators, creating a collaborative and supportive work culture.
- Curriculum Development: Work with educators to develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with New Zealand's Early Childhood Education Curriculum, Te Whāriki.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise teaching staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and the local community.
- Compliance: Ensure the centre operates in compliance with all relevant licensing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or a recognised qualification in Primary.
- Ideally 3-5 years + of experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand's early childhood education regulations and curriculum.
