My well-known client are on the lookout for an Accountant to join their close-knit team.

This position is part of the administration and finance function. Reporting to the GM Finance, the role provides
operational financial and analytical support to the relevant General Managers and the Senior Leadership team. In
addition, the Senior Accountant is required to ensure that accurate and timely reporting is delivered to clients in
accordance with contract specifications, and the New Zealand (NZ) and Australian Head Offices (HO) as directed
including the monthly management report.

The Accountant may be deployed as required to undertake a wide range of activities within the business units
as requested by the GM Finance.

To be successful in this role; Attention to detail is a must, and it will be something that testing will be carried out on within the interview process. There will also be testing around cognitive abilities, and of course, Excel.

Duties include:

• Ensure General Managers are provided with appropriate information to be able to report and make decisions on the performance of business units
• Ensure that reports are equipped with appropriate information to be able to report and make decisions on the performance of business units
• Conduct regular reviews on revenue generation, cost control and general expenditure issues
• Month end involves a number of tasks that need to be completed in a timely manner to achieve set goals and deadline
• Check, close off and run P&L reports for review by CM/GM with commentary
• Enter fixed assets into FMS Fixed Assets
• Maintain EXCEL models for budgets
