I am looking for an energetic and passionate Accounts Clerk/Personal Assistant to join this company located in the CBD. You will join a passionate team who will provide a supportive environment. My client is looking for someone from an accounts background, who is well versed in Accounts Payables/Receivables and has superior office management skills. Additionally you will be comfortable dealing with people internally and externally whilst being the first point of service for external stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

The duties of the position include but are not restricted to those outlined below.

  • Accounts Payable
    • Processing and creation of supplier and sales invoices
    • Online banking
    • Credit card transactions
    • Collate any project and/ or claims paperwork as required
    • Supplier statement reconciliations
    • GST returns
    • Debtor/Creditor reconciliations
  • Personal Assistant to MD
  • Ensure filing is accurate and up to date at all times; manage archives effectively and efficiently
  • Other duties as directed by Managing Director other Executive Team members
  • Display a high level of personal integrity and business ethics
  • Maintain an orderly, neat, tidy and professional workplace on a daily basis
  • Follow Company policies and procedures
  • General Administration


Essential:

  • High degree of organisational skills
  • MYOB experience - crucial
  • High attention to detail
  • Display teamwork and continuous improvement activities
  • Exhibit calm and composed manner at all times
  • Ability to work proactively and independently
  • Competent with computers including Excel and Word; MYOB
