job description

The role:

To ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and assisting in ensuring the integrity of financial information in the general ledger through quality, systems procedures and controls.

General duties include:

  • On time accurate processing of suppliers’ invoices for payment. Includes checking compliance with delegated financial authority policy.
  • Timely processing, reconciliation and action of weekly, monthly and ad hock payment runs as required.
  • Timely reconciliation of suspense/clearing general ledger accounts.
  • Timely review and settlement of any credits or documents with issues in the Accounts Payable Ledger.
  • Actively seek to capture any duplicate documents
  • Actively encourage the business to follow defined purchase to pay procedures.
