The Role:

Within this role you will gain valuable experience in a fast paced and rapidly growing financial services organisation. As the Accounts Payable Manager you will be managing a team of up to 6 accounts payable officers in the day to day functions and month end reporting. This role reports directly to the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing invoices & customer receipts
  • Managing expenses & supplier payments
  • Monitoring debtors / creditors
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Preparing payroll journals & reconciling
  • Reviewing bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with implementation of ERP / GL transition from existing system to NetSuite
  • Supporting and mentoring the accounts payable team

About You:

An energetic and experienced accounts payable manager or team leader seeking an opportunity to expand your experience and skill set with an international organisation.

  • Previous experience leading an accounts payable team
  • A proactive and self motivated professional
  • Strong rapport building skills
  • Experience using NetSuite would be advantageous but not essential
  • Prior experience with Expensify
  • Understanding of Financial Services / Market terminology.
  • Good grasp of accounting principles.
