Our client is an international company based in the Porirua region and is currently working on an exciting project. The opportunity available is most suited to an intermediate level administrator who has experience within the construction industry. The role includes various tasks that keep everyday interesting and a chance for the individual to take ownership.

This role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Managing the equipment store on site
  • System reporting
  • Updating and maintain specific databases
  • Involvement with presentations and Inductions
  • Completing the end of month reports
  • Raising and managing purchase orders
  • Planning of specific events
  • Minute taking for meetings
  • Filing and general administration
  • Assisting the manager with any adhoc requests

The ideal candidate would need to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to effectively communicate with a range of people from different backgrounds
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Basic to intermediate level of Excel
  • Basic understanding of PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn and understand new systems quickly
  • Strong time management skills
