    Temporary administrator/receptionist position available at an early childcare centre in Upper Hutt.

    Office Administrator & Receptionist

    • Upper Hutt location
    • 9am - 3pm, Monday - Friday (start/finish times are flexible, 5 - 6 hours per day)
    • Start August 8th
    • Assignment ends 28th October with possibility of extension
    • $25 - $30 per hour

    The person currently in the role is going overseas from the end of August to the end of October and needs someone to cover the reception desk and general administration tasks. They will continue to do payroll, so you will just be greeting parents as they walk in to drop off or pick up their kids and help around the office with general administration tasks, reporting to the centre’s manager.

    Tasks include

    • Taking attendance of the children each day and entering it to an online system
    • Receive emails and either direct or respond to them
    • Monitor office supplies and order/restock when needed
    • Answer the phone and greet people at reception
    • Assisting the centre manager with general tasks around the office
    • Data entry

    About you

    • Positive, friendly and approachable
    • Competent and quick learner
    • Some administration and customer service experience
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes including Outlook
    • Clear phone communication and written skills
    • Professional presentation
