The opportunity has arisen for an experienced draftsperson to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to take their next step into a senior position or who is interested in moving to beautiful Northland. Based on experience of the successful candidate there is opportunity for continued career growth within a supportive team environment.


  • LBP 1 is a minimum requirement for this role
  • Completely proficient in using ArchiCAD in a working environment
  • 5+ years industry experience
  • Relevant industry qualifications are beneficial but not essential
  • Confident in producing accurate architectural and construction drawings for residential projects
  • Thorough knowledge of NZS3604
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry in New Zealand and good practices
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work quickly when under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A desire for constant improvement


  • Taking concept drawings and converting them into an accurate set of architectural and construction drawings and specifications ready for pricing, consent and construction
  • Providing design help / sharing experience with others in the business
  • Confident in liaising with councils, engineers, builders and all other stakeholders
  • Knowledge of building materials, their applications and best practices
