As the Assistant Accountant you will support the finance and payroll officers as well as well as the Corporate Services General Manager. As a not for profit organisation they are passionate about changing the lives of the Wellington community.
Key Accountabilities:

- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Bank reconciliations
- Ensuring month end journals are accurate
- Supporting with the end to end payroll function
- Assist with audit and liaise with external auditor when required
- PAYE and GST payments and processes
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a can do attitude. You will have previous experience in an accounts administration or payables position seeking your next opportunity. As this is a small team your role will be varied and provided lots of opportunities to get stuck into the whole finance process!
