My client is a leading employer in the ICT sector, and is currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for a newly created position to work out of their Christchurch office. This is an opportunity to make the role your own, work autonomously, and focus on delivering results rather than KPI's.

In this role, you will be responsible for growing a business customer base by:

- Prospecting for new business using a variety of methods including cold calling, networking, and referrals

- Meeting with customers to ascertain their requirements

- Working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer-centric solutions

- Building relationships with channel partners to ensure a stream of warm leads

- Document preparation and responding to RFP's

- Presentations to customers

Our ideal candidate has experience working in a previous business development role, and has a track record of proven success. You will have a good grasp of technology and be adept at translating technical language to non-technical customers. You will enjoy working autonomously, and be self-motivated to deliver superior results. We are ideally looking for candidates who have experience in the IT, ICT, or Cyber Security industry.
