Are you a solution sales professional who can truly understand what the customer needs? If so, then this could be your next role!

Due to some internal developments, my client is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to drive growth and create new business opportuntiies in the Otago region. This is a greenfields opportunity, working for an established company with a start-up flavour.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for growing and developing new business by:

- Cold calling and uncovering opportunities

- Meeting with customers to truly understand their requirements

- Developing solutions which meet the customers needs

- Preparing pricing and proposals

- Presenting solutions to customers

- Ensuring seamless delivery from your team

Who are you?

You are a true hunter in every sense of the word. Not only do you love seeking out new opportunities but you take pride in delivering for your customer every single time. You have proven experience in delivering a solution sales process, and ideally have worked selling a service rather than a product. Our ideal candidate must have B2B selling experience, and will have a good knowledge of the Dunedin market.

A passion for technology, and great computer skills will assist you in securing this role. As well as, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with key internal stakeholders.

We would ideally like candidates with experience in the IT, or Telecommunications sector, but will welcome candidates who can demonstrate an aptitude in this industry, but may have experience elsewhere.
