We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic account manager to grow the Auckland and Waikato region within a well established FMCG organisation.

This role will suit someone who has the ability to build strong B2B relationships, grow existing accounts and identify and convert new clients - you will be able to make this region your own and the options for potential client acquisition are vast.

You will be part of a 4 person team who are located across New Zealand so must have the ability to work autonomously. This full time oppportunity is based out of South Auckland with flexible working options and will suit a strong sales person who thrives in a client facing sales role.

Key responsibilities:

- Strong stakeholder management with clients and internal team members
- Strategic sales approach
- Work towards KPIs and financial targets
- Identify opportunity and convert into buying clients
- Manage call and visit cycles to grow existing accounts
- Self management/initiative

You will bring:
- Account management experience
- Proven ability to generate new business
- B2B sales experience
- FMCG experience preferred but not essential
- Supply chain experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
