The centre

A well established 58 Licence centre conveniently located in the heart of Albany, caring for children from 3 months to 5 years old. The centre focuses on providing a high quality child care service to children and families, with a commitment to ensuring each child is cared for and supported in a warm, friendly and positive environment. It has excellent ratios, qualified and caring teachers, quality equipment and an attractive working environment.

The role

This is an opportunity for a experienced centre manager to bring stability to a dedicated team of professionals. On the job coaching is provided so this would also be a great opportunity for a strong 2IC to step up.

The role will provide you with the scope and opportunity to demonstrate your effective management skills, create innovative ideas, build long lasting relationships and ensure the smooth day to day running of the centre.

Qualifications & Requirement

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching
  • Full NZ ECE Teacher registration
  • A track record of developing and motivating a team
  • Ability to engage with and foster strong relationships with children, staff and whanau
  • Have strong interpersonal communication skills
