Southern Cross Health Society is New Zealand's leading health insurer, taking care of over 870,000 New Zealanders.

Due to internal promotions, Southern Cross are on the lookout for some new talent. We are looking for a couple of superstar Consultants to join our Claim Approvals team.

You'll be our members guide though their journey with us, taking calls and assisting members with a variety of inquiries about their health insurance cover and eligibility to make claims.

About the role:

  • Talk to people from all walks of life, helping them through emotionally charged conversations and difficult situations
  • Use a range of systems to access information members require
  • Respond to member enquiries displaying consistently high levels of professionalism
  • Gather information, conduct research, and piece together a case to deliver a confident and clear decision
  • Participate in creating and maintaining a positive, supportive and rewarding team environment
  • Continuously keep up to date with policy, product and process knowledge
