job description

As a Claims Consultant you would be responsible for resolving and responding to customer claims, processing, providing claims advice and settlements for Direct Insurance products and services.

The main purpose is to create a best in class claims experience for customers. This means you need to be able to show compassion, be understanding, think on your feet and problem solve.

We need you to have experience in:

  • providing superior customer service
  • working in a fast paced environment
  • processing high volumes of work accurately and efficiently
  • using Microsoft Office intermediate standard
  • providing written responses to a high standard

We’d love it if you’re experienced and comfortable with:

  • Resolving customer complaints
  • Working constructively within a team environment
  • Prioritising workloads to meet objectives
  • Delivering excellence for our customers
  • Working in a contact centre environment

Hours of work:

You’d be working on a roster over 7 days but you’d be given this 2 weeks in advance so you can still enjoy that work/life balance.

Operating hours are Monday – Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday Sunday 9am-6pm so you’d be rostered 37.5 hours/week between these times.
