An opportunity has arisen to join this global organisation which is a leader in its field of data analytics.

I am looking for talented Client Executive or Senior Relationship Manager to join this global organisation located in central Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established leader in its field that looks after its people. The role will work closely with the GM Sales and the Managing Director to execute a strategic account management program designed to protect and penetrate the organisation’s key strategic priorities. The overarching purpose of the role is to develop account management strategies and tactics focused on delivering customer success – as measured by quantifiable business results for their most valuable clients.


Key Responsibilities include

Business development

  • Develop a sales strategy for the allocated client, manage its implementation and monitor outcomes to achieve agreed financial budgets, focusing on protecting existing revenue lines and cultivating new revenue growth opportunities with the objective of delivering increased aggregated gross margin from the portfolio.
  • Work horizontally and vertically in allocated key accounts to identify new opportunities, qualify Equifax’s capability to engage in the opportunity and where relevant, bring together a virtual team to cultivate opportunity to close stage.
  • A key component of the role supports Equifax’s desire to provide our clients with outstanding levels of performance insight. The Client Executive will be actively and continually involved in negotiating to secure a substantial proportion of client credit enquiry and default data. Whilst this activity may not deliver immediate and specific client revenue, it is crucial to the market dominance of the organisation and therefore, compensation for the role will include a measure for this activity.

Relationship Building

  • Establish sustainable relationships with multiple layers of management in client organisations with the aim of building a series of coaches in roles of influence.
  • Identify the key influencers and decision makers within each client organisation, document via Sales and Marketing plans and share with the ELT to ensure the establishment of peer-to-peer relationships.
  • Develop an understanding of the ‘roadmap’ of relationships between Equifax and the client organisation, the quality of each relationship and impact on the business (strategic, tactical, support, mentor etc) and define where the Client Executive can add value.
  • From an internal perspective, a key responsibility is to perform the role of coach, mentor and confidante for the virtual client team with the aim of building an outstanding customer engagement team, consistently aligned to the goals of the corporation and focused on delivering customer success.

Skills

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification
  • Extensive senior sales roles in the financial services sector selling enterprise complex solutions (5-8 years).
  • Strong leadership track record of strategic, consultative sales in a complex market with a track record of being able to develop, present and close multi-million dollar, multi-year opportunities.
  • Commercially astute –significant commercial business experience and knowledge.
  • Practical, demonstrable knowledge of developing and maintaining strategic account management plans.
  • Ability to work effectively across organisational units and geographic locations.
  • Personal presence, strong influencing skills and outstanding communication skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and energise people to co-operate and perform to well defined action plans.
  • Mature, well balanced and emotionally resilient.
  • Ability to use their experience and provide wisdom, insight and energy.
  • Exceptional personal customer relationship management skills and outstanding interpersonal and liaison skills with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial services, credit and associated sectors.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
