job description

I am currently recruiting for a Clinical Support Specialist to support the introduction of a new generation cardiology application system as part of the Cardiac Cath Lab upgrade. The Customer is currently very experienced with the existing system and this role is primarily to support the transition to the new system and to ensure key users are appropriately trained on new features and workflow differences.

Details

This is intended to be a 2-month contract role, running from mid-October through to December.

  • In-depth training to be conducted by the manufacturer; this will mostly be on-line/remote learning and will comprise learning modules and tests to confirm understanding.
  • Case attendance expected late October / early November to see the current system being used and to start building relationships with end-users
  • First two weeks of November the Cath Lab will be closed while the upgrade takes place. Case support in their second lab and / or system training can continue during this period.
  • Go-live of the upgraded lab will commence mid-November. Case support will be expected from mid-November through to Christmas to ensure all users are comfortable with the new features and workflow of the system. Users will include Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiac Physiologists, Medical Radiology Technicians and nursing staff.

This position would suit a nurse, radiographer or cardiac physiologist with experience in the cath lab.
