Our client is devoted to the prosperity and well being of the Wellington communities. We are looking for an experienced communications and engagement specialist to help a government department achieve greater synergy and success in Wellington.

The client is looking for a competent candidate with a proven track record in internal and external communications and company wide engagement. The candidate should be proficient in planning and implementing marketing strategy across all teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Communications planning and implementation
  • Marketing and communications support and advice

  • Strategic communications advice

  • Health and safety

Key competencies and qualifications:

  • Marketing or communications related tertiary qualification
  • 4+ years experience in marketing and/or communications
  • Developing marketing plans and strategies
  • Coaching and mentoring various sectors
  • Effective and appropriate communication with leadership teams
  • A proactive approach to work and a willingness to succeed
