Randstad works with aged care facilites around New Zealand to provide them with casual and permanent staff.

We are currently looking for a cook for a carehome in Te Puke for an 8 week period, 8am-5pm 4 days a week.

The role includes (but not limited to):
...

Planning and implementing all menu programmes and other catering needs
Ensuring food is prepared as stipulated by the consultant dietician
Maintaining effective communication with nursing staff to ensure resident’s changing dietary requirements are met
Hygiene and food safety standards are adhered to
Ordering food: ensuring cost effective and timely ordering of supplies to meet the requirements of the standardised menu

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

Friendly and works well within a team
Able to adapt well to changing environments and work well under pressure
Clear communicator and follows directions
At least 2 years experience in a professional kitchen environment
