    The Organisation
    We have multiple, upcoming vacancies within a Central Government Ministry as part of one of their specialised Customer Service teams.

    In this team, you will get the opportunity to kick start your career in a fast-paced, team environment, supporting people across Aotearoa and further afield. As life goes back to normal with the reopening of NZ's borders, this team will be at the forefront of these changes to our new reality. There is plenty of knowledge to be gained too as you assist with inquiries over the phone and email, and deepen your understanding of Government processes. In Depth training will be provided, as well as ongoing opportunities for further development and progression, making this more than just a short term opportunity... this will allow you to start building a solid foundation of skills to further your career in a unique, professional, customer service environment.

    The Role
    This 3 - 6 month contract is;

    • Mid August start date
    • Full time - 40 hours a week
    • Monday - Friday, varying 7.5 hours shifts between 8am - 10pm
    • Porirua based with WFH options once full trained
    • $25ph + 8% holiday pay
    In this Customer Service Representative role you will be;
    • Delivering a high standard of customer service
    • Providing resolution and information via phone and email to the public
    • Responding to queries in a timely and professional manner
    • Performing administrative tasks effectively and efficiently
    About You
    We are looking for candidates with;
    • Natural customer centric approach to their work
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to analyse and relay complex information in a clear, concise manner
    • Confidence in navigating computer systems
    • Empathetic listening skills when dealing with sensitive/emotive circumstances.
    • Resilience and ability to work in fast-paced environment
