We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Customer Service Team Leader, based in Te Rapa Hamilton. This role is starting ASAP and will have two direct reports working within the Customer Service/ Dispatch team.

This role is operating in the construction and concreting industry and is an opportunity to grow within a renowned established corporate organization.

The Role:

  • Offering ongoing support to direct reports
  • Provide excellent customer care through sharing product information, proactively follow-up, and sales support
  • Overseeing the dispatch/ logistics function by coordinating the process for the product to get to the customers
  • Manage escalated calls, complaints, and technical customer queries in a calm, professional manner
  • Help manage the achievement of sales, growth, and customer retention strategies

To be successful in role:

  • Sound experience in customer services ideally in a call center or manufacturing/ Logistics environments
  • Solid leadership and influencing skills, Team Leader experience is preferred
  • Resilient and a positive, natural leader who can keep calm under pressure
  • Adaptive and flexible nature in a changing environment
  • An ability to utilise sound judgement to manage difficult customer situations and solicit feedback to improve service.
