You will be part of a data hub that is expanding and play a key part in the business providing Analytics and Data. The team culture is one with a stakeholder mindset and team curiosity is daily business. As a Data Analyst in this team you will be supporting executive level stakeholders manipulating and publishing data and do some development in the data warehouse for producing reports. You will be the voice within your group of stakeholders to proof the value of data, create reports and insights.

Through manipulating data, as BI/Data Analyst you will determine data quality and recommend data improvements as well as being instrumental in day to day investigation of production issues.

In addition, as a BI/Data Analyst you will assist in the preparation of business cases and project plans, provide technical assistance and advice and use data set and database design knowledge to recommend, build and implement data solutions. You will need to do some development in SSIS and SSRS and savvy with PowerBI

This role could also be for someone that is looking to step in a future advanced analytics position providing the have the drive, personality and at least a few years of data analysis/BI experience already.

How does a day look like?

  • Data Development in SSRS/SSIS
  • Data manipulation and preparation
  • Analysis and extraction of data using SQL and Excel and visualisations
  • Stakeholder management
  • Gathering requirement with stakeholders and take them on the data lifecycle journey
  • Data reporting
  • Assisting with recommendations on improvements to data management disciplines, standards, practices, tools and techniques, in support of continuous improvement

What are we looking for?

Hard skills:

  • SQL skills
  • Experience with PowerBI
  • R or Python would be nice to have

Soft Skills:

  • Few year of Data Analytics experience
  • Communication Skills – strong written and verbal
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for data
