The Role

  • Previous commercial experience working in a DevOps focused engineering role
  • Experience programing in Python is a real plus
  • Previous experience working with at least one of the following - Docker, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch and Kafka
  • Familiar working as part of a high functioning software engineering team
  • Confident being able to recommend solutions for low-latency, high-availability, reactive and performant systems
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of working in a cloud environment (ideally AWS)
  • Experience with Helm, Prometheus and Grafana is a plus
  • Experience or familiarity with message-based microservices is a plus
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git preferred)
  • Being the ‘go to person’ for infrastructure and DevOps
