job description

The centre in located in Kaikoura. Kaikoura is a coastal town on the South Island of New Zealand. It’s known for its abundant wildlife and its sperm whale population. The Kaikoura Peninsula Walkway winds from the town centre to lookout points at Point Kean. Close by, the rock platforms are home to a colony of New Zealand fur seals.

The centre are a not for profit centre and have a 'free flow' approach to their teaching, meaning teachers are not assigned to a designated room and all teachers are reponsible for teaching children from 0 - 6 years (babies to pre-school).

The centre currently ahve around 50 chidlren on roll and have 5-6 members of staff at the centre. the centre is warm and welcoming and the Early learning organisation who run the centre and very well known around the world.

This role will be 40 hours full-time Monday - Friday) and teachers applying for this role must be qualified and registered to teach Early Childhood in New Zealand.
