The Role

Randstad Education are seeking to appoint a Qualified and Registered Teacher for a centre located in Blenheim The successful teacher will be tasked with creating and implementing the centres program curriculum whilst also inspiring children to investigate, create and explore their environment.

The Person

We are looking for a grad with drive and ambition or an experienced teacher with proven ability to work within a team enviornment and put the children first. You will be required to fit into a high performing team in reaching the highest quality care and education for all children and families. You will also have a strong drive to excel in all areas of the Te Whariki frameworks and all National Standards and be able to use this knowledge to develop, design and implement educational programs.

Essential qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor of Diploma in Early Childhood Education
  • New Zealand Teachers Registration
  • 2-3 Years experience in a teaching role
  • Demonstrated organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong practical interpersonal and written communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with staff and parents and positively promote the centre.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and implement work programs, maintain relevant records and control budgets.
  • Ability to develop and evaluate child appropriate programs and activities.
