I am curently working on a role for a great centre in Poirua, Wellington who are looking for an amazing qualified early childhood teacher to join their collaborative team. The role is full time and permanent, and they are looking for someone to start asap.

About you:

  • Early childhood teaching qualification recognized by the Education Council of Aotearoa NZ
  • Knowledge and understanding of current early childhood education theory and practice
  • Be a team player who has great communication skills, with parents, staff and children
  • Can use initiative and is committed to quality practice standards and the principles of Te Whāriki
  • Enthusiasm and a strong desire to make a difference to children in their early years while building strong links with their whānau and families.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Masters/Bachelor Level 7 ECE or Primary - New Zealand or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience in an early years environment a must
