Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced centre manager who can lead a large team of teachers in West Auckland.
As a Centre Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in an educational environment and has great communication skills to allow for fantastic relationship building amongst tamariki, families and the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership to our team of educators, creating a collaborative and supportive work culture.
- Curriculum Development: Work with educators to develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with New Zealand's Early Childhood Education Curriculum, Te Whāriki.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise teaching staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and the local community.
- Compliance: Ensure the centre operates in compliance with all relevant licensing and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or a recognised qualification in Primary and current teachers registration
- Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role within an early childhood education setting.
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand's early childhood education regulations and curriculum.
