job description

About the centre:

We are a purpose built and family orientated centre located in Mt Wellington, easily accessible from both the Southern and Northern Motorways. We are licensed for 100, across 3 rooms: babies, toddlers and preschool.

Our owners are actively involved on a daily basis and our staff culture is one of fun and enthusiasm. We believe in the power of positive relationships. Relationships with our children, relationships with our parents and relationships with each other. We can often be found socialising outside of working hours.

About the position:

Due to an increase in enrollments, we currently have 2 vacancies for qualified and registered ECE teachers. One in the babies room and one in the Preschool.

For our babies we are requiring an experienced and competent ECE professional to join our close knit team. You need to have a genuine passion for the Under 2’s as well as initiative and a can do attitude.

For our Preschoolers, experience is preferred but not essential. However, an interest in program planning and transition to school programmes is a must.

Both positions are full time teaching positions working between 7.30-5.30pm.

What's in it for you?

In return, you will join a vibrant and friendly team of teachers, who glean knowledge and skills off each other. We work hard but we know how to have a laugh!

In addition to this, you will also be exposed to countless opportunities for career development. We recognise potential and always strive to promote from within.

We also offer subsidised childcare to all of our staff, should you need it.

Please apply online today or contact Yasmin Duchateau on 09 3007795 for more info on any of our current vacancies.

*We are currently recruiting for both permanent roles and relief teachers across Auckland.

Our commitment to safeguarding children and young people.

Randstad Education is committed to the safety and well being of all children and young people. We take steps to achieve this through our candidate application process. All applicants are required to complete a NZ Police Request & Consent form and a Police Check will be conducted. In some circumstances, an International Police Clearance is also required. Your consultant will be able to advise if this is applicable to you. Lastly, references are conducted in relation to the applicant's interactions with children using an online platform that has an inbuilt fraud alert. Employment is subject to clearance of all these checks to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people and in accordance with The Vulnerable Children Act.
