A well-known brand with an international presence, this business makes a significant contribution to the New Zealand community on a daily basis.

Reporting to the New Zealand Head of HR, this role is focused on supporting the team with all matters related to Employee Relations, including the end-to-end management of disciplinaries, performance management processes, personal grievances, interactions with union representatives, coaching line managers on ER matters, and more.

The role would be well suited to a generalist with a passion for ER, or an ER specialist looking for their next contract role.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Experience advising on a high volume of ER matters (e.g. performance management, disciplinaries, personal grievances);
  • Strong working knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation;
  • Experience working in a unionised environment;
  • A high level of resilience and strong time management skills; and
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to coach and advise people at all levels.
