We currently have a great opportunity for a Finance Business Partnering position in an organisation that strives to make a difference for people. Based in Wellington CBD in a full-time permanent basis, this role will give you the opportunity to pro-actively understand the organisation allowing you to provide key contributions as a trusted business partner.

You will have a strong background in supporting financial performance and analysis within complex environments and a depth of experience in communicating complicated financial matters to non-financial managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take on the Finance Business Partnering function, understanding the financial performance of the business and understanding the inter-relationship with non-financial performance.
  • Ensure that all relevant management reporting and business performance reporting requirements are completed accurately and in a timely manner, alongside ensuring this supports business decision making.
  • Engage with the organisation’s Business planning in relation to financial budgets and forecasts.
  • Establish and manage relationships with business unit managers at all levels, ensuring they are kept up to date with business related decisions.

Key Requirements:

  • CA Qualification or Equivalent.
  • 8+ years experience in an accounting and/or partnering position within a large/complex organisation.
  • Significant experience in financial forecasting and reporting to an executive leadership group
  • Distinguished analytical numerical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and communicate this in writing and verbally
