The Company

This organisation manages a large number of stakeholders and accounts and are a sole provider in their space to New Zealand. The office is very open and people are highly interactive between different teams and share common interests within their market as well. It is rare to work somewhere with such a high level of interaction organisation wide

The Team

Joining a smaller Technology team, you will be working closely with a Senior Developer to manage the applications stack and will be an important part of ongoing projects through 2019. You will be collaborating with the business as well as interacting with key stakeholders externally in regards to outsourced applications.

Working directly for the IT Manager you will have strong leadership above you who respects the input of his staff and the ideas for continuous improvements particularly on account of much of the environment scheduled for modernisation.

The Role

The Intermediate .Net Developer will get to work on multiple projects as well as maintaining and improving the current applications stack moving forward. You will be an important person in regards to engaging with vendors but primarily you will be working closely with the other developer and leadership to make the improvements.

The Person

You will be:

  • Performing full stack development but mainly focused on C#, ASP.NET, SQL, some legacy MS Access, CSS, JavaScript, HTML,
  • Utilising Continuous Improvement best practices refining technology and business processes for best fit solutions,
  • Assisting with Database Tuning and Performance,
  • Future project pipeline including API development, SQL server upgrades, new web applications for customers and new technologies to be adopted.
