The Role

This Junior Developer position will join the Product Development team, focusing on new features; new add ons and also improvements to existing products. You will be learning from industry leading professionals and the training and accreditations will be covered by the business in order to position you as an expert in this field.

You will have every opportunity to work with different technologies while your core focus will be Java Development. You’ll get to work with market leading businesses and learn how to develop in Devops environment and build a deep understanding of the SDLC.

Technologies you will work with: Java, SOAP, REST, API’s SQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and of could the Atlassian tools like Jira, Bamboo, Fisheye etc.

The Person

We are looking for people who love dealing with customers, who are engaging and have a serious desire to learn and build a great career. The organisation is flat structured so the ability to learn independently and manage workloads effectively is important although excellent training will be provided.

To be in good consideration you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or a similar qualification or perhaps a great portfolio of work from a coding academy
  • Prior programming experience from projects whether professionally, personally or through academia
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A desire to work for a company with huge growth potential
  • A familiarity and genuine interest in Atlassian tools
