job description

We seek the skill and experience of a HelpDesk professional, to support our customer on a 3-month contract. Based in Canterbury, they offer patient-centred integrated health care. If you think innovatively, build strong relationships, and have a ‘can-do’ attitude, this is the role for you.

You'll interact with customers via phone and email, as well as on site at their offices around Canterbury, to provide a seamless customer experience. You'll deal with a variety of queries; from identifying customer needs and requests and providing bespoke support plus loads more. As you'll be dealing with such variety, you will need to be confident using multiple systems and working at speed.

About you
Do you have the following:

  • Experience providing great customer service
  • An attraction for technology and navigating different systems
  • A natural interest in helping people, and know how to build relationships quickly
  • Excellent communication skills - you're a natural on the phone and can master a great email

To thrive in this role you’ll have:

  • Sound customer service experience - preferably call centre
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise
  • Attention to detail
  • A high degree of accuracy and good data entry skills
  • Great written and oral communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite, MicroSoft Server and SQL
  • IT qualifications such as A+, MCSA, Cisco CCNA
  • A full New Zealand drivers licence
