job description

We are looking for a driven and professional candidate interested in working within a fast paced environment. Our client is currently going through some changes and is looking for someone eager to make a change - they are based in Auckland CBD. We're looking for someone who may have had 6 months to 12 months of Health and Safety experience at a Coordinator level or more advanced.

Qualifications are not essential.

Main duties and responsabilties:

  • Desktop review of safety inspections/leads submitted by VPL Field Managers
  • Desktop review of safety incidents within VPL’s incident management system
  • Assist SHEQ Advisors to obtain incident evidence and supporting background information
  • Assist internal quality accreditation audits
  • General administrative support

The right candidate will have:

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to converse with different levels of stakeholders
  • Valid work right for at least 3 months
  • 6-12 months of HSE experience
