Our client is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic qualified educator to join their team and lead as head teacher for their infants classroom.
This centre is located in Onehunga, close to motorways and public transport, and is currently licensed for 85 children aged 0 - 5 years old. Each age related learning space has been carefully designed to create a warm, inviting and homely environment with open play at its core.
This role would suit an experienced infants teacher looking to step up and lead a strong team of educators, or an already experienced infants head teacher. You should have a minimum of 2+ years teaching experience here in NZ and hold a level 7+ ECE or Primary qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management: Lead a team of dedicated educators, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and the community, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
- Child Development: Monitor and assess each child’s development, creating individualized learning plans to support their growth and well-being.
- Administrative Duties: Oversee daily routines of the classroom, including scheduling, resource management, and compliance with regulations.
