The role

As the Insights Analyst – Statistical Modelling, you will be responsible for delivery and execution of Statistical Modelling which includes segmentation analysis, acquisition modelling, econometric modelling and lapse modelling. You should be a proactive member, actively assist with projects in the Business Reporting, Digital Analytics, and Market Research space – great opportunity to diversify your skills and learn the business.

As part of the Insights and Analytics team, you need to ensure all analysis is implemented using best practice techniques and delivery of analysis is tailored to the audience across the business. Your ability to communicate meaningful data to different levels of stakeholders are crucial and this role requires high attention to detail & time/task management skills.

This is a 12 months Fixed Term role. We can also discuss a rolling contract option.

The requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate

  • Intermediate analytical experience in similar positions
  • Expertise in using statistical modelling analytics tools eg: MySQL Workbench, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, and/or R
  • Effective communication/interpersonal skills and a supportive team player
  • Ability to work under pressure & methodical problem solver

This role would suit someone with a Marketing or Statistics degree with a couple of years working as an analyst familiar with statistical modelling tools and looking for the next step to grow their career with a reputable NZ company.
