This communications giant with a fantastic pedigree are now looking for a Integration Architect to join the Digital Services Team to help further enhance their already advanced, pioneering customer offerings and services.

The Role
Working as part of a well organised, highly agile Integration/Microservices Team, you will work with five other Architects scoping out and designing business critical projects. You will collaborate with a large team of highly skilled Java Developers as well as a multidisciplinary support team. The key technical areas you must be skilled in are microservices and API’s, Java, Apache Camel and Spring Boot.

Skills / Experience:

  • Fully competent Architect, shaping the solution and leading technical delivery of large/complex enterprise integration solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of Java/J2EE and Open Source technologies and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Microservices
  • In-depth integration knowledge using an Open Source ESB (Mulesoft, WSO2, Apache ServiceMix or Jboss Fuse).
  • Strong understanding of microservices and RESTful API development.
  • Awareness of DevOps – including Continuous Integration and Delivery using agile Configuration Management, Environment Management and Release Management practices.
  • Proven experience working within a large, highly agile multidisciplinary development team.
  • Polished communication / interpersonal skills.

The team is flexible in which hours people are in the office, though it is desirable to be around in the core hours (10am - 3pm) to allow for discussions and collaboration with the team members.
