The company

We are looking for an awesome Integration Developer to join our client’s newly created Integration and API focused delivery team. After changing the way they work this business is focused on streamlining their business and the products and services that are available to their customers. As a nationally recognizable brand you will be working on products that will be wide reaching and essential to the success of the company moving forward.

The role

This position requires a specialist in the Integration domain who is both consultative and strategic in their approach. As this is a large and complex organisation this position requires someone who is excellent at building very strong working relationships across the entire organisation and with external third parties.

Technologies you will be using

Mule ESB, BizTalk and building API’s. If you have experience on other integration tools and tech you will still be considered as these skills can be trained.

The responsibilites

The Integration Developer will be accountable for:

  • Contribute to, assist and initiate in SDLC where appropriate to ensure Solutions Delivery project deliverables match project requirements.
  • Assist with integration solutions planning, liaise with relevant application experts and contribute to solution design.
  • Ensure that best practice processes and procedures are followed for all solutions implemented, including awareness and considerations for secure coding principles.
  • Provide feedback where a solution step’s outside the best practice, including impacts and alternative solutions.
  • Liaise with solutions architects, analysts and other developers to ensure all deliveries are supported by the correct architectural implementation.
  • Build on current CI/CD processes to increase defect find time and speed to delivery.
  • Analyse system requirements and develop technical design.
  • Develop and maintain application software.
  • Conform to quality assurance standards, secure coding principles and agreed processes within the department.
  • Participate in and support the rollout of continuous improvement initiatives.
