The role in a nutshell:

  • Providing end-user support for all applications, including bespoke systems;
  • Investigating technical issues related to registry system matters;
  • Respond to incoming incidents whilst contributing to the continuous improvement of all applications;
  • Contribute to the development of a knowledge base of user guides and processes to assist with issue resolution across the business;
  • Providing business expertise on system related matters to IT support vendors and Project Managers on request;
  • Performing user acceptance testing on system maintenance and enhancements involving the registry systems
  • Follow the management of the case through to resolution. This includes problem analysis, potential problem analysis, identification, classification, resolution and escalation where necessary;
  • Administer the applications by creating accounts and managing permissions, complete integrity reviews and monitoring of automatic daily jobs;

To be successful in this role, he/she must have:

  • Strong technical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, as the role requires to liaise with a wide range of clients and multiple agencies such as Inland Revenue, ASIC, etc.
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, web sites and internet services
  • Planning and organising skills, including ability to maintain performance when under pressure, critical assessment of work-flows, and appropriate prioritising of work
