Lead Front End Developer - Angular, .NET, CI/CD - Auckland

This fast growing, Kiwi company are establishing themselves in the market and taking business away from the big corporates in the financial space focusing massively on better customer offerings and digital experience. They are highly agile and innovative and are now looking to further invest in their development team with this key opening.

What will you be doing?

As a senior member of staff, you'll work on a leadership and mentoring level across the development team and effectively manage the direction and workload of juniors. This is not a management role so you will not be taken away from your “hands on” development responsibilities, all the boring admin duties etc will be done by someone else (winner!). You will work within a close-knit team and with the Tech Lead producing overall designs/architecture.

This business are looking for more than just a technical person but somebody with drive, personality and ambition. You’ll be highly collaborative and have passion to innovate.

Skills/experience:

  • Strong commercial software development experience
  • Excellent Front End development knowledge particularly JavaScript frameworks such as Angular (a must!)
  • Solid understanding of .NET framework
  • Solid understanding of front end application architecture and best practices for optimising performance
  • Strong strategic thinker with solution design and architecure
  • Lead the front end team - willingness to share knowledge and mentor team members.
  • Understanding and proficiency in configuring and creating CI/CD systems
  • Previous experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
