Do you have experience in the Civil Construction or Survey industry? Do you like a challenge and consider yourself
technically-minded? If you have sales experience too, you could be just what we’re looking for…

As the NZ dealer for Leica Geosystems, our client is the market leaders in measurement and positioning technology for
civil construction companies. Our client's technology delivers the efficiencies and productivity gains that keep earthworks
projects and major infrastructure projects on track, on time and on budget.

The industry is experiencing significant growth in the use of technology. Our client's systems allow operators to visualise
project designs in 3D from the cab and for heavy machinery to be automated to cut precisely to designs.

If this is the type of technology that you already understand or have an interest in, then come join the team of
specialists and expand the customer base in Wellington and the lower North Island!

What you’ll be doing on a day-to-day basis:

    • Demonstrating and selling construction technology solutions to existing and new customers.
    • Building strong relationships with customers at grass-roots and management levels
    • Delivering amazing ongoing customer support and training.

Outstanding product knowledge is the key to success in this role, you’ll receive lots of training both online and in
person, and will need to be self-motivated to learn everything there is to know about the technology and become an
    expert.

    Your skills and experience:

    • Experience with construction machinery and/or surveying.
    • Sales experience in a relatable industry.
    • Moderate computer skills.

    Personal qualities we’re looking for:

    • Good people skills, able to relate well to customers in the construction industry.
    • Be truly customer-focused in all things.
    • Organised, self-motivated and a thirst for knowledge.
    • Be both a team player and able to work with others.
    • Thrive in an ongoing training and up-skilling environment.
    • Enthusiasm – make a positive impact on working environment and our team culture.

You’ll be joining a team of highly-skilled experts who work hard, play hard, have a great team culture, sharing
knowledges and supporting each other whenever they can.

This role covers Wellington, Hawkes Bay and the lower North Island. Approximately 25% of your time will be spent
on regular sales trips to these areas, to see new and existing customers and maintain a high level of activity in the
    market.

Of course, we’ll provide all the tools and technology required to do the job including a company vehicle, laptop,
    mobile phone etc.

Generally hours are 8.30am – 5pm / Mon – Fri with flexibility around travelling and customer commitments.
