job description

A great opportunity has come up for a Management Accountant on a 3 month hourly rate contract for an organization in the private sector.

This position will be responsible for financial analysis, budgeting and financial reporting, business case preparation. The role will require analytical thinking and providing advice to those outside of core finance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the year-end process for Capital and Operating expenditure to meet Finance deadlines.
  • Lead monthly reporting for assigned portfolio, ensuring these are prepared accurately and on time
  • Assist with the preparation and development of business cases.
  • Advise and guide decision making around your assigned portfolio that maximises financial strategic outcomes.

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a business related field.
  • Completed a CA Qualification or Equivalent
  • Minimum of two years post qualification accounting experience
  • Experience in property or infrastructure with a focus around CAPEX/OPEX
