Child Cancer Foundation is the only charity in New Zealand providing tailored, practical, one to one support to children with cancer and their families. It is the only organisation in the world to offer this particular model of support.

They receive no government funding and rely entirely on the generosity of Kiwis to fund their vital work.

  • Practical, unique and tailored support to each child and their family, based on their specific needs as they navigate their difficult and unwanted journey through child cancer
  • Programmes empowering families to deal with specific challenges

The Team

As the Marketing Manager, you will be a relationship driven leader to a team of 4-5, to which you will bring your creative flair while also being realistic in regards to this not-for-profit organisation’s budgets.

The team is performing well, but as an empowering leader & coach, you will continue to bring the various functions together and build a strong, integrated strategy to take everything to the next level.

The Role

As an experienced Manager, you will be providing leadership across all channels and marketing activity, while developing and executing a full integrated plan and strategy.

You will be highly collaborative with strong relationship management skills, with the ability to obtain buy in from the wider business and your team. You will be someone who is reliable, proactive, and hungry to succeed.

The key accountabilities in this role will include:

  • Creating, leading and delivering the marketing and engagement plans and all elements of the marketing mix including communications
  • Improving supporter acquisition, ROI and innovative marketing initiatives
  • Market research and planning
  • Budget management
  • Identifying opportunities to grow business and improve performance
  • Strategic direction of external and internal communications
  • Tracking, measuring, and analysing performance
