Our expanding client has an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Administrator / Book-keeper within their Business Advisory Services team, based in the Auckland CBD. The main focus of the role will be working closely with various clients to assist with their payroll, while there will also be book-keeping tasks including:

• preparing and processing their accounts payable and receivable
• preparing GST and FBT returns,
• managing various monthly reconciliations
• generating monthly reports

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic to learn, as well as having some prior payroll experience. An interest in accounting and systems would also be needed for the role. Experience previously working with SmartPayroll would also be advantageous, as well as previous exposure to working in a commercial office environment and experience using Xero. Ideally you will have good technical Excel skills.

You will demonstrate logic and maturity in your thinking, have an exceptional eye for detail, be comfortable working in the digital environment and can liaise with people across all levels of the business.
