job description

Work for an international brand that will be instantly recognisable to most New Zealanders. The payroll team is a small, but hard working unit, reporting into the wider finance team who are based out of their office near Auckland Airport.

I'm currently looking for an experienced PAyroll Officer who has the following attributes:

  • Highly skilled in SAP
  • Working knowledge of Kronos
  • Autonomous - able to work unsupervised
  • Fast learner - no time to waste!
  • Systems and process driven

Your duties will include running BAU payroll whist the team implement a new project, as well as:

  • End to End payroll duties including adding employees, redundancies and leave entitlements etc
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Weekly, Fortnightly and Monthly pay runs
  • Liaising with IRD, Unions and Healthcare providers
  • Maintaining a working knowledge of current legislature
  • Assisting with reporting into regional HR and Finance teams

This is a full time, contract role, starting as soon as possible. You will be required to pass a Health & Safety induction, Medical and Drug Test before commencing work on site.
