job description

Our client is looking for a talented Payroll Specialist to join their tight knit Wellington Human Resources Team. This role is either part time (30 hours ish) or full time hours for the right person - Fixed Term until 31 December 2019.

Ideally, the candidate will have all of the following attributes:

  • HRIS systems Experience and knowledge
  • A level of payroll process improvement experience and track record
  • A high level of end to end payroll experience
  • A team approach to work
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and experience
  • Outside the box thinker
  • Holidays Act knowledge

This role is a pivotal one for the business which is required in order to have the HR and Payroll run smoothly week by week. It is also a very important role in order for the business to cope with future planning, process improvements and systems implementations. For this reason, a level of knowledge or history of this would be ideal.
