Are you looking to take the next step in your Performance/Planning/Reporting career, with a well known organisation in Wellington?

Randstad are currently looking for a Principal Advisor to join a growing and capable finance team on a permanent basis, in order to work with the business and tell the performance story by effectively articulating medium to long term strategic goals.

Working in this key position, sitting between finance and the rest of the organisation, you will provide an accurate picture of how the organisation is sitting against its strategic objectives, whilst leading the implementation of key performance documents.

Responsibilities:

  • Take a leading role in providing performance reporting through the delivery of key documents in relation to wider strategic objectives.
  • Lead the development and presentation of the organisation's performance story, whilst working across the finance team in order to better understand business performance and areas of improvement.
  • Consistently update and redefine key metrics and measures in order to bring together strategy and performance and align to wider business goals and objectives.
  • Provide high quality and timely reporting to Senior level stakeholders, whilst working with different parts of the business to develop key information and analytics that contribute towards better business performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability in performance reporting within a complex environment and presenting findings to Senior Leadership.
  • Proven experience of developing relevant Accountability Documents for planning, such as Annual Plan, Statement of Intent etc.
  • Understanding and experience of working within a government environment.
  • A proven track record of effectively presenting information and influencing others at a Senior level.
