The Role

We are looking for an experienced Incident and Problem Manager to join this Ministry's IT Group. This group's focus is first and foremost their customer base, both internal and external. They pride themselves on providing the best technical support they can to all they serve. With this, we are looking for an engaging leader. A problem or incident manager that carries this same mind set and can lead the way in times of need.

This position involves;

  • High impact (P1) incident and problem management
  • Ensuring process and procedures are in place to manage high profile problems and mitigate the risk of recurrence
  • Critical decision making and "War Room" management
  • Regular presentations and stakeholder engagement across multiple business units.

About You

With this responsibility comes a desired degree of skills and experience. We are looking for;

  • Experience with ITIL and Change Control, Incident and Problem Management, working to SLAs and MoUs.
  • Stakeholder management and strong people skills - relationship management is a fundamental
  • Strong knowledge of technologies and applications within a large corporate environment.
  • Experience with reporting, collating data, statistics and performance metrics
  • Confident presenting skills as well as strong written communication.
