I am very proud to bring this opportunity to market. A unique hourly rate contract with an opportunity to bring your ICT Procurement experience to a veyr interesting government agency. There are some great pieces of work about to kick off and your expertise is required!

I am seeking a dynamic procurement professional to partner with the appropriate business units to deliver high quality procurement from strategic planning through to ongoing contract management. We are seeking a team player who is comfortable to delegate, review and share knowledge - as well as delivering quality work themselves.

My client is looking for a Procurement Specialist for an initial 6 month hourly rate contract, to support a significant programme of technology investment, in addition to ongoing business-as-usual renewals of hardware, software and services.

The Procurement Specialist would be responsible for co-ordinating multiple procurements in conjunction with business analysts, technical subject matter experts and my clients finance and legal teams.

I am ideally looking for a Procurement Specialist with:

• Extensive experience in managing RFI / RFQ / RFPs in particular those of a digital and technical nature.

• A minimum of five years procurement experience.

• Familiarity with government and commercial procurement.

• Experience with implementation and ongoing management of Master Services Agreements.

• The ability to manage multiple procurements collaboratively, in a changing environment.

• The ability to partner with the wider business to deliver a highly effective procurement practice.

• Experience providing strategic advice, coaching, coordination and planning in relation to strategic sourcing and procurement.

• Extensive experience in managing end to end procurement and contract management including contract negotiation and commercial drafting.

• Excellent verbal and written skills

• Experience in the IT sector

• A sound understanding of the legal landscape with either a formal qualification or relevant experience across law
