Randstad Technologies are currently looking for an experienced Systems Analyst / Application Support Engineer with strong exposure to .Net applications (C#) and ITIL standards. This role is responsible for customer service to clients, problems and incident management tasks as well as working closely with the development, testing and infrastructure teams.

This role will require you to work closely in conjunction with Software Engineers and business stakeholders to assist with operational procedures and new system enhancements.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Resolving technical and production issues with the engineering disciplines and reviewing issues where required.
  • Coding and development tasks for (Microsoft) .Net applications (C#).
  • Support new functionality during testing and in production
  • Ongoing support working closely with the development team.
  • Play an active role in overall project objectives decisions of technical improvements.
  • Consults with project stakeholders to identify current operating procedures and system objectives to clarify and balance them with program objectives.
  • Writing documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
  • Constantly seek to improve technical understanding and awareness of the technical working environment.

Skills & Experience required for this role:

  • A University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Software Engineering development experience with Microsoft .Net associated technologies and programming languages C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, SQL Server, JQuery, Java, CSS
  • Experience with ITIL and service management for areas across Incident, Problem and Change management.
  • Proven track record on development teams and delivering complex web applications.
  • Experience working within both an Agile and waterfall methodology
